As the fall season arrives, the 2020 trend of bringing back incomplete animes continued. We saw fruits basket returning earlier this year and now we got Oregairu (My teen romantic comedy SNAFU) coming back from the limbo with it’s the third and final season. Fans are excited about this return after a hiatus of 5 years as season 2 finished in 2015 with a dramatic ending. We all are excited to see how the show ends as 9 of the 12 total episodes have already been released.
A Recap of The Story So Far.
As we look back the series started as a high school romantic comedy. But as the characters developed, we saw a shift towards true emotions and drama which we as fans have come to expect from a good slice of life show.
Our protagonist Hachiman Hikigaya who meets Yui Yuigahama a bubbly, happy girl who wants to make everyone around her happy, and Yukino Yukinoshita a rich girl who has suppressed feelings and starts to get emotionally connected to Hiki. As we follow the characters solving problems of other students we get to know more about their true selves. We find out how Hachiman cares very little about the feelings of others. Later on, in a very emotional scene of the second season, he cries and shows Compassion in front of Yui and Yukino.
Release Date of The 10th Episode.
The tenth episode of the third season will be released on 11th September 2020 with the finale following soon. As the prom arc comes to its conclusion the fans are eager to see what comes in the next episode. The love triangle between these characters has been a focal point of this romantic comedy and it will be a curious surprise as to how things will turn out in the end.
