Marvel’s Iron Fist, popularly known as the Iron Fist is probably the only creation of Marvel that is the biggest disappointment. The series, taken from Roy Thomas and Gil Kane’s Marvel character of the same name. It featured Finn Jones, Jessica Henwick, Tom Pelphrey, etc. in the leading role. However, the series remains cancelled as of now.

Cancellation: Iron Fist Season 3
The news regarding official cancellation came on October 12, 2018, from Netflix. Iron Fist got cancelled way before any discussion took place on the potential story ideas for season 3. Marvel wanted to continue with the series despite Netflix’s cancellation. Now, the series will remain cancelled until and unless any other streaming service renews it.
There was also news that the series is under consideration for reviving in Disney. But, a deal was there between Netflix and Marvel regarding the non-appearance of character after the cancellation of Iron Fist for a minimum of two years in other non-Netflix series, films.
Reason for Cancellation: Iron Fist Season 3
The cancellation reason mainly goes to the desire of Netflix to separate the characters from the 2017’s The Defenders. The first season is very poorly written and goes at a low pace. There were some excellent action and improvement in writing. However, the show ultimately got cancelled due to low ratings and viewership. It failed to garner of the people. Critics also negatively reviewed the series. Furthermore, there is also an assumption partly that the cancellation of the Marvel shows is done by Netflix due to Disney streamings service.
One idea I toyed with — and this was never discussed with @Marvel or @netflix as the series was canceled before any S3 discussions – Danny found a way to channel his Chi through the guns — the issue being he’s anti gun violence and they belong to someone else. @MarvelIronFist https://t.co/jbm8ToYF2o
