Total War: Warhammer 2 Announces DLC Twisted and Twilight Lords Pack Available This December

The Twisted and Twilight Lords Pack is now coming to Total War: Warhammer 2. This new pack introduces two new Legendary Lords to the popular game. Only yesterday, fans were speculating that an expansion was on its way. Now it looks like there is no need to wait any longer, because Creative Assembly just announced that the next Total War: Warhammer 2 DLC is the Twisted and the Twilight Lords Pack. This expansion shows us the Wood Elves of Athel Loren, and the Skaven monsters from Clan Moulder. Those who love elves can lead the Sisters of Twilight, and those who enjoy rats can lead as Throt the Unclead. New legendary hero units also include Queen Ariel of Athel Loren and Ghoritch.

Both campaigns will feature new mechanics and missions. They’ll both have their own mini-campaigns and have the ability to be playable in both the Eye of the Vortex and the Mortal Empire game modes. There are an additional nine unit types to this new content. Elf knights, giant stags, mutant rat ogres, and six regiments. Throt’s unique mechanic allows you to recycle units and start over again.

However, the sisters have Forge of Daith. When you progress through their campaign, you can confront incidents or dilemmas that get you access to the forge. There, you can craft new items, or upgrade existing creations. This expansion also comes with a free update to the Wood Elves from Old World. It’ll come with quality of life improvements, and unit balancing.

New forest regions have been added, reworking the old and bringing in some new forest regions in both the Old and New Worlds. Healing rituals have been fixed with quality of life fixes as well. However, to get any of these updates, you’ll need the DLC. Primarily, this DLC deals with Elves, so if the elves are your thing, be sure to get a copy for yourself.
