Fans of Marvel’s Daredevil might just get another good news. After rumors of Charlie Cox joining Spider–Man 3, word has it that after over two years of the cancellation of the series. Marvel’s Daredevil was a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on the small screen. It was one of the first shows which later aided the superhero team–up in The Defenders.
Release date: Daredevil Season 4
Netflix canceled Daredevil in 2018 and as per the agreement, the character could not appear in any other project under Marvel for two years. However, with two years having been passed in November 2020, Daredevil is expected to appear back through Spider–Man 3. Furthermore, since Disney has acquired rights to this production once again, the future fourth season is a possibility. The exact date of release cannot be determined since no official announcement has been made, but all chances are that the fourth season will release post the 2022 release of Spider–Man 3.
Since Netflix has canceled the show, it is highly unlikely that the same platform would host the show again. Disney is already offering other MCU shows like WandaVision on Disney+, and it is not far-fetched to think that if Daredevil returns it will be premiered on Disney+.
Cast: Daredevil Season 4
Charlie Cox has reportedly said that he doubts the series will come back but would love to take up the role of Matt Murdock or Daredevil again. Along with him, Elden Henson will possibly return as Foggy Nelson. Due to varied schedules and other commitments, it might be hard to get the cast and crew of Daredevil back again, but the hope is that Disney will be able to get them together.
Plot: Marvel’s Daredevil
Daredevil follows the story of Matt Murdock, a lawyer blinded at a young age due to an accident. However, the accident also gave him heightened senses. He opens up a law firm with Foggy Nelson, an old–time friend, and saves a woman named Karen Page from being persecuted in his very first case. Thus, he earns a name for himself as a lawyer.
At night, Matt takes up the name of Daredevil and fights criminals, protecting Hell’s Kitchen. He faces challenged both as a lawyer as well as a vigilante and learns to juggle the two personas in some way.
Storyline: Daredevil Season 3
After the events of The Defenders, Matt is severely injured and ends up in the orphanage where he grew up. After going through a crisis of faith, he decides to dedicate most of his time as a vigilante and not to return to his life as a civilian. This, however, leads to Foggy and Karen believing Matt might be dead after the accident he was in. Over the course of the season, matt reveals to Karen and Foggy that he is alive.
On the other hand, Wilson Fisk or Kingpin makes a deal with the FBI to get out of the prison. He does so to protect his girlfriend, Vanessa Mariana. The case is given to officer ray Nadeem, whose life gets entangled in the whole mess.
At the end of the season, Wisk decides to turn himself back after marrying Vanessa if she is spared and her involvement in the murder of Nadeem is not disclosed. Meanwhile, matt, Karen, and Foggy contemplate working together again.
