Every new iPhone makes the market shake in anticipation. The iOS run mobile often brings new and exciting features for its users. iPhone 12 mini was no different. When released in the second half of the year 2020, the iPhone 12 series were met with much excitement. However, unlike its counterpart, iPhone 12 mini received a mixed bag of reviews. Many have criticized its small size. As a result, the phone series encountered a good amount of loss. Even with all the problems and issues faced by the phone, there are talks of a future in Miniseries. The Miniseries is expected to go on for a considerable amount of time, and with a loss in hand, we can only wonder how manufacturers will work with the new update.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini series were announced on 13th October 2020. Anybody could pre-order them in early November. It was released on 13th November 2020. The update came in form of a jump from 4G to 5G, along with a change in LED. The mini model especially offered better video quality services. The battery is 8.57 Wh, which is around 2,227mAh. It has the new chipset of Apple A14 Biopic. The sensors are the same, along with the biometric identification.
Design: iPhone 12 mini
This phone series offered memories of 64, 128 and 256 GB, along with a 4 GB RAM. It has a smaller screen of 5.4 inches. It has an all-screen OLED display, with a pixel resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The phone model is in colours Green, Blue, product Red, Black and White. The back camera has two image sensors, each of 12 megapixels. The front camera has a single image sensor of 12 megapixels as well. The pas has the operating system iOS 14.
This phone also comes with Dual SIM, one as a nano-SIM and the eSIM. They do not work well with existing micro-SIM cards.
While the adapter and EarPods were removed from the packing, users will get a USB-C to Lightning Cable.

The iPhone 12 mini is currently at a range between Rs. 64,000 and 85,000. Amazon starts the sale for the same with 64 GB memory at Rs. 69,000, which at a discounted price is being sold at Rs. 64,490. For 128 GB memory, the original pride is displayed at Rs. 74,900 with the current price of Rs. 69,490. The 256 GB model costs equal to Rs. 84,606. On Reliance Digital, iPhone 12 mini (128 GB) is coming at the price of Rs. 71,904.
Review: iPhone 12 Mini
While some were happy with the smaller size of the new phone, many opposed the new iPhone 12 mini. The demand was much lower and thus it failed to meet the figure that was expected. The consensus came that iPhone 12 mini only contributed about 6% of the total sales.
iPhone 12 Mini’s small size was one of the reasons for its poor performance, along with the removal of EarPods and the adaptor. As a result of such, Mini has been performing rather poorly in the market and rumours have it that the series might be cancelled in the second half of 2021.
However, even if these series were to be cancelled, Apple has already given a green flag to iPhone 13 mini-series. Fans of smaller screens might not have to despair after all.
