As soon as the news of Elliot Stabler returning to the franchise Law and Order broke out, the fans went bonkers, reeling to see their favorite NYPD officer on screen after a decade.NBC in March 2020, officially declared that Christopher Meloni will recommence the role of Stabler in the spin-off of Law and Order: Special Victims Unit(SVU). Here are all the details about the long-anticipated reunion of Stabler with his police force.

Created by Dick Wolf, Law and Order is a captivating television series based on America, that deals with the stories of criminal justice. This legal drama show that has been entertaining us for more than three decades now has released many series and spinoffs, viz,

The newest addition to this list is Law and Order: Organized Crime which is supposedly a spinoff of the SVU series comprising 13 episodes as of now.
Law and Order: Release Dates
Law and Order: Organized Crime will release on 1st April 2021 at 10 pm ET, showing Stabler in the pivot role. Just an hour before this spinoff, the 22nd season of SUV will premiere featuring Stabler and Olivia’s magnetic duo together at 9 pm ET. Both the shows will of course be released on NBC.

The homecoming of Christopher Meloni aka Elliot Stabler
Elliot Stabler, the charismatic, ferocious cop played by Christopher Meloni will be seen heading a new organized crime, task force. Meloni left the series at the end of season 12 back in 2011. There have been several speculations and news about the star rejoining the show.
The showrunners have said the return of Stabler will be preceded by his own personal loss and that tangent would be added to the story of the task force further. His family is very likely to give an appearance in the coming episodes of the show. While it will be a treat to watch Meloni in his own flair, fans are enthralled to watch Stabler once again with his former partner, Olivia Benson played by Mariska Hargitay who were phenomenal together before.
Meloni and the creators of the show have both reacted to the return of Stabler and said that he would be an evolved person now. With time, the changes in the police force will surely affect the way the character would be portrayed now. Since now, it’s more than necessary to condemn and send a message against the increasing evils in the police system.
With the release of the official teaser a few days ago and the social media posts of the cast members creating a buzz, one can totally picture fans screaming with excitement. Though they have plenty of questions to ask Mr.Elliot; one of the most important ones being, Where was he? What was he doing? and where has he been? We suppose Stabler has very slyly left an Easter egg and has told all of us that maybe he was indeed waiting for the right moment!
