The Falcon and The Winter Soldier of Marvel studios Episode 5: Spoiler’s Cameo Hinted in the Next Episode

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is an American television miniseries based on the Marvel Comics characters Sam Wilson / Falcon and Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier, directed by Malcolm Spellman for the streaming service Disney+. It takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and follows the events of the previous films in the series. The series’ events take place after the release of Avengers: Endgame (2019). Marvel Studios produced the show, with Spellman acting as the show’s head writer and Kari Skogland directing.

Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie return as Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson, respectively, from the film series. In addition to Wyatt Russell, Erin Kellyman, Danny Ramirez, Georges St-Pierre, Adepero Oduye, Don Cheadle, Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, and Florence Kasumba, the film stars Wyatt Russell, Erin Kellyman, Danny Ramirez, Georges St-Pierre, Adepero Oduye, Don Cheadle, Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, and Florence Kasumba. By September 2018, Marvel Studios was working on a range of limited series for Disney+ based on MCU supporting characters including Wilson and Barnes. Spellman joined the team in October and decided to concentrate on the racial problems posed by Wilson receiving Captain America’s shield at the end of Endgame. In April 2019, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was confirmed, and Skogland was hired the following month. Filming started in Atlanta, Georgia, in October 2019 and moved to the Czech Republic in March 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, production was halted, but it resumed in Atlanta in September before wrapping in the Czech Republic in October.

There may or may not be any X-Men in the upcoming Disney+ Marvel series, but The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s showrunner has indicated that a major comic book cameo is on the way. We’ll meet a “grounded” familiar Marvel character played by a “well-known performer” in Episode 5 of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. What does this mean? There might be spoilers for Falcon and the Winter Soldier episode 5 ahead.

Hoai-Tran Bui of Slashfilm states that The Falcon And The Winter Soldier showrunner Malcolm Spellman recently teased a major character cameo and that Slashfilm has independently discovered that the cameo “isn’t one we’ve seen in the MCU before and isn’t one who is primed to appear in an upcoming film.” However, we’ve discovered that it’s a real-life Marvel Comics character played by a well-known actor.

Spellman said the character in question was “grounded” in a separate interview, which, coupled with the Slashfilm scoop, may mean we’re dealing with someone who doesn’t have superpowers. It’s also likely that whoever this person is isn’t a part of the Avengers. That isn’t to say they don’t have ties to superheroes or mutants; it just means they aren’t a superhero… yet.

Since the mention of “the aerospace engineer” in WandaVision, fans have speculated that it might be Reed Richards from the Fantastic Four. Doctor Doom may also be lurking in the world of  The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, what with all the grim, brainwashing stuff.

It’s probably not a good idea to bet on superhero and supervillain cameos right now, but don’t blame us if a pre-iron mask Doctor Doom appears in The Falcon And The Winter Soldier episode 5.
