The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is about to conclude the series soon, with only two episodes remaining to be aired.
But as per the prior episodes of the series, the show has left the fans guessing the identity of the mysterious Power Broker. The character was first introduced in the third episode titled ‘The Power Broker’ during Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) visit to Madripoo. Also not particularly being seen in the episode he is allegedly known to be the primary antagonist on the show.
The Power Broker is the shady villain who restarted to manufacture the Super Soldier Serum along with the help of Dr. Wilfred Nigel, however, the super-serum landed in the hands of the evil Flag-Smashers, making the Power Broker partly responsible for the destruction they have caused
Furthermore, the fans couldn’t stop their brains from churning in attempting to figure out the actual identity of the shadowy character which led to the social media filled up with various theories and speculations regarding the face behind the mask of the Power Broker.
As per the latest reasons, some fans are assuming that Sharon Carter, who is portrayed by Emily VanCamp is actually the Power Broker. Sharon first made an appearance in the features of Marvel Universe in the 2016 film Captain America: Civil War and her character in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier series is following the events of the movie. She is also now living in the fictional Marvel town of Madripoor and some scenes in the series have confirmed the notions of her being the Power Broker.
According to a viewer, Sharon is living a fairly generous life in Madripoor for a fugitive as well as her opinion on certain topics has changed. On the other hand, another fan noted that Sharon being the Power Broker makes a valid point since her life was ruined by the government in the aftermath of helping Steve Rogers in the film. So it makes absolute sense for her to try to get back at them.
Emily VanCamp also voiced out her opinions on the ongoing discussion regarding the identity of the Power Broker in a recent interview with the Hollywood Reporter. She praised the fans for landing the latest theory as pretty impressive but made no statement to confirm neither deny the swirling theories. She may also have hinted that there are still more characters to unveil in the upcoming episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier who can possibly be the Power Broker.
The fourth episode of the show ended with, John Walker’s Captain America, performed by Wyatt Russell leaving the fans with their jaws dropped in shock. Walker injected himself with the super serum as well as killed a Flag-Smasher with the shield in reaction to the death of his best friend and partner who was murdered by the organization’s head Karli Morgenthau.
