Season 2 Episode 9
When we go back to the plot of episode 9, we previously saw the death of a Russian Cosmonaut at the hands of an American in For All Mankind season 2, episode 9. The Soviet Union has not digested this imminent assault well, and they have erupted in anger.
The authorities make the decision to use force against the Americans. But on the other side, we also saw that Molly is frustrated with many of these cold war conditions and wants to go off to Mexico for her medication. Her plan would not go as expected because Wayne comes in and declares his dissent. Finally, Molly had no choice but to yield to her husband’s wishes and abandon her initial desire to remain by his side.
In episode 10 of For All Mankind season 2, we see the Soviets exacting their vengeance on the Americans by invading Jamestown Base. They completely destroy its structure in the process, resulting in a significant pressure difference. Just after the incident, the news has still to reach Houston, causing even more confusion when a Cosmonaut requests asylum. This episode will undoubtedly deliver a hot platter of action as well as a heavy dose of history.
If we look at the show in its true light, it depicts both America and Russia in a fascinating space race. Both powerful nations feed us the most powerful type of content in order to conquer this game and prove their dominance. We can also deduce from the tense atmosphere that it will not be completed anytime soon, possibly in season 3.
