The most legendary guitarist Jeff LaBar died at the age of 58 on July 14, 2021. He was one of the members, of the most famous rock band “Cinderella”. The heart-breaking news of the guitarist’s demise was later confirmed by his son through social media. Jeff LeBar’s son Sebastian posted a series of photos on Instagram with his late father, in order to pay tribute to him.
LaBar dies at the age of 58:
Jeff LaBer was found dead in his bedroom, inside his apartment on July 14, 2021. LaBer used to live at his Nashville apartment. Though, the cause and reason for his death are still unknown. However, his former wife Gaile LaBar-Bernhardt told the press about his demise. She said that she found the guitarist’s dead body in his apartment in Nashville. Further, the insiders said that since the family and friends were not able to communicate with him for the last few days. It was then, that his wife went to his apartment in order to check up on him and found him dead. However, the cause of Jeff Laber’s death is still unknown.
LaBar’s son Sebastian and Cindrella bandmates’ heartwarming and emotional tribute to his father:
Sebastian LaBar, whom Jeff shared with his first wife, Gaile posted a series of photos remembering his late father. The news of Jeff LaBar’s demise was apparently first confirmed by his son Sebastian. Further, he also wrote an emotional caption dedicating to his father on his Instagram post. He wrote, “my father, my hero, my idol, passed away today. I’m currently at a loss for words. I love you pop! ❤️”. His bandmates Tom Keifer, Eric Brittingham, and Fred Coury remembered his former partner through a press statement. In the official statement, through a press release, the bandmates revived Jeff LaBar’s memory. They said that their unique bond as a band member and that of creating music together will always be remembered. Moreover, they also shared that this news of his demise has shocked them. The bandmembers also sent their deepest condolence to his wife, son, and family. The statement continued, “Jeff’s memory and music will be with us forever. We all… band, family, and management appreciate the overwhelming outpouring of love. Rest in peace, Jeff.”

Cinderella was one of the biggest glam rock bands, back in the 1980s. Its “Nobody’s Fool” and “Don’t Know What You Got (Till It’s Gone)” were the biggest hit of all time, and even got ranked in the Billboard Top Hot 100. However, the band is inactive right now. It has not released any studio album since 1994 and has also not played a show since 2014.
LaBar joined Cinderella in 1983 after replacing the original guitarist. Back in 2016, LaBar took the blame for the prolonged inactiveness of the band. Further, explaining the cause of his reasons, LaBar said that it was his alcoholic problems that led to a split of him with his bandmates. He also told that he has been in touch with his bandmates, Eric and Fred. While Tom Keifer is the only bandmate he couldn’t get in touch with after the rift within the band.
