George and Amal Clooney, a couple that seems to have come straight out of a fairytale, were spotted heading to a fancy dinner at Lake Como in Italy. The love birds did not fail in keeping their glam quotient to an all-time high as Amal was seen adorning a classic-chic white dress accentuated by a box-clutch and a pair of earrings, and George looked humbly handsome in a gray suit worn over a white shirt. The duo was joined by Amal’s mother Baria Alamuddin and sister Tala Alamuddin along with her husband. A source told People that it was the first time in two years the two were back in Italy and their friends in the country were excited to meet them after so long.
How two souls from completely different worlds exchanged vows forevermore
Amal, a human rights and international law barrister with a Lebanese-British background, and George, an American actor, director, producer, screenwriter, and philanthropist, first met each other at a charity event in 2013 and have been strong ever since. The two married the following year and are proud parents of twins Alexander and Ella whom they welcomed to the world in 2017. They are spotted together at several events together which notably includes the wedding of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan in Windsor, England. As far as their style game goes, the two never fail to impress the world.
Fans had a chance to visit the power couple in their Lake Como house
Earlier this month, a contest was announced by George and Amal Clooney in partnership with a for-profit fundraiser Omaze where the winner would get a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dine with the couple in their Lake Como house. All that fans needed to do in order to enter the contest was to make an optional donation to support the Clooney Foundation for Justice ranging anywhere between $1-100 and fill in details like their name, area of residence, and shipping address. What’s more, is that one person could enter themselves 6000 times. The prize includes round-trip tickets to Italy, a chance to raise a toast and bond with them over lunch, and get a day to remember forever. The deadline to enter was 16th July and the winner will be announced on 2nd August.
The Luxury Lake Como Mansion
The actor also owns a villa on Lake Como in Laglio, Italy constructed in the 18th century which he bought back in 2002 for an estimated whopping 14 million dollars. A few other A-list celebrities like Madonna, Donatella Versace, and Richard Branson either own or have owned property/properties in that area. The mansion includes a huge garage to accommodate the entire collection of George’s motorcycles, a group of 25 rooms in total, and a theater room. George had his heart set on creating a place to call home in the area since the time he first traveled there and fell in love with the serenity the city provided. He recalled in an interview about realizing how beautiful life was in the city.
