Jared Padalecki, The ‘Supernatural’ Star’s 39th Birthday, Wife Wishes Posted Sweet Picture On Instagram

Birthdays are a special time of year, not only do they remind us of how far we’ve come but are also an occasion to show someone how much you appreciate their presence in your life.

Celebrities seldom have the time to celebrate things properly but birthdays are a cause for celebration and the perfect excuse for The Walker star Jared Tristan Padalecki to take time off and spend with his family.

This Texas-born celebrity just turned 39 and his Supernatural co-star and Wife Genevieve Cortese shared a sweet post, wishing him Happy Birthday. The couple seemed very happy and you can check out the post below.

Jared Padalecki’s Personal Life

Padalecki was born in Texas, to Gerald and Sherri Padalecki and also won the National Forensic League national championship in 1998. He always wanted to be an actor and to pursue his dream he moved to California.

While working for the series Supernatural, he met Genevieve Cortese when she played Ruby n the 4th season. They started dating soon after and in 2010, the couple decided it was time for their engagement.

In a later interview, the couple shared that Padalecki proposed to her at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The pair tied the knot on February 27, 2010, in Idaho and the next year in October they were expecting their first child together.

The pair have three children, 2 sons and 1 daughter. The eldest Thomas was born on March 19, 2012. And their second son, Austin Padalecki on December 22, 2013. Cortese gave birth to their daughter, Odette Elliott Padalecki, on March 17, 2017. Padalecki and his family reside in Texas, where he owns a ’90s-themed bar.

Padalecki’s Career

He started his professional acting career in 1999, where he starred in the film A Little Inside. He got selected as Dean Forester for the series Gilmore Girls in 2000. He stayed with the series till 2005, during which he played minor roles in several films, including Silent Witness, Close to Home, and  A Ring of Endless Light ( Disney).

He also appeared in Cheaper by the Dozen (2003), Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen comedy New York Minute (2004), the trailer of Flight of the Phoenix, House of Wax (2005, starring opposite Paris Hilton) and in a horror film Cry Wolf (2005).

He also hosted Room 401, a horror reality series in 2007, which was discontinued due to poor ratings.

He got his big break when he auditioned for the WB series, Supernatural and was cast as Dean Forester. The fantasy & sci-fi show was a big hit and aired for an impressive 15 seasons, becoming the longest-running series of its genre in North America.

In September 2019, CW announced that the reboot series of Walker, Texas Ranger, will feature Jared Padalecki. The reboot series premiered on January 21, 2021, and was also a big hit.

Jared has always given his best for every role he played, and due to that, he has been nominated for quite a few wards in his life. Although he wasn’t able to win all of them, he still won the Constellation Awards in 2008 and 2012, People’s Choice Awards in 2012 and Teen Choice Award in 2015 & 2019.
