Marilyn Manson Files Dismissal Against Sexual Assault And Battery Lawsuit By Esmé Bianco

Brian Hugh Warner, more popularly known as Marilyn Manson has always denied the sexual assault accusations made by “Game of Thrones” star Esmé Bianco. His lawyers have filed to dismiss the lawsuit, filing to the Central California District on Wednesday.

His lawyers have claimed that the lawsuit by Esme is meritless and her claims are untrue, to say the least. They have also called the lawsuit, a key component of a coordinated attack, targeted on their client. The recording artist’s lawyer Howard E. King, claimed that the lawsuit should be dismissed according to the state of California’s statute of limitations. He also wrote that the incident is over 7 years old and should not be used to malign his client and any attempt to dishonestly monetize and exploit the #MeToo movement should not be supported.

What Is This Case All About?

In February this year, Game of Thrones actress Esmé Bianco along with several women spoke out on social media after Rachel Wood accused Manson of sexually, physically, and emotionally abusing her during their relationship. Bianco is suing both, Marilyn Manson and Tony Ciulla (his manager), for sexual assault and sexual battery. Ciulla decided to cut ties with his client in February after assault allegations against Marilyn Manson became serious.

Bianco sued Manson, in April this year, and allegations of verbal and physical abuse, along with rape dating back to 2007. According to what Bianco said in an interview, she filed the lawsuit to hold him accountable and she hopes that no more lives are shattered this way. This was a very brave step by the actress and this move will definitely empower other victims to seek justice. Ciulla Management, the company is named as a defendant in the claim.

The lawsuit filed by Bianco’s lawyers claims that Manson also violated human trafficking laws. He brought the actress from London to Los Angeles, claiming that she would be filming a video (I Want to Kill You Like They Do in the Movies) and also star in a movie (Phantasmagoria), both of which were never released. The lawsuit also claims that Mr. Warner used drugs and threats to pressure the victim into doing sexual acts on multiple occasions. Along with the abuse, Manson also committed sexual acts, when the victim was unconscious or not in the right state of mind.

More Lawsuits For Marilyn Manson?

The Game of Thrones star is not alone, as there are more than a dozen women, that have accused the musician. The accusations include domestic violence, human trafficking, rape, emotional distress, abuse, sexual assault, and unlawful imprisonment.

The musician is under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department after his ex-fiancé Evan Rachel Wood alleged that she was brainwashed and manipulated for years. In May, Ashley Morgan Smithline also filed a lawsuit against Marilyn Manson, and her attorney Jay Ellwanger claimed that she was treated like an animal and that he destroyed so many women.

Marilyn Manson has strongly denied these claims, stating that they are just public stunts for fame.
