Three seasons of the tv series have already been released with 25 episodes in total. The first season was premiered on 28 August 2016 in the United Kingdom, it has eight episodes. The writer Goodwin said that she is working on Victoria Season 4. That means she has started to write season 4. She stated that she is enjoying writing the storyline of another season and there are going to be many twists in season 4 with some new faces and a few deaths too. It’s going to be interesting.

Storyline
The series revolves around Queen Victoria, the queen of England. Its shows the life of Victoria from the age of 18, since she started her accession to the British throne. It shows her affections and early marriage with Prince Albert and their children.
The series shows the struggles of her life with all the responsibilities as a wife mother and queen. And the decisions she has to make for the wars and allies going on in the world. The struggles of being on a throne are shown in different situations.
Season three shows them in their 30s with six children, and conflicts in their relationship. And it shows the efforts of prince Albert trying to mold his son into the next king. Victoria Season 4 is going to start from where the third season ended. Victoria aging up and trying to handle her life. As the writer said there are going to be various twists in the storyline.
As per statements till now, Jeene will play the role of aged victoria as well. She will have to put on a lot of makeup for the role as she is too young to play old age Victoria. But the role will eventually come to an end where victoria has to be seen as very old and someone else has to play the role.
