House Of The Dragon Teaser Launched; When Is It Releasing On HBO Max?

Recently, HBO Max. has launched the teaser trailer of its upcoming show, House of the Dragon. This upcoming series is a prequel to the famous series “Games of Thrones”. It is an American fantasy drama series. It is set 200 years before the time of the Games of Thrones. The timeline is set 200 years before time and tells a new story. Although it is might possible that the story will connect to each other somehow.

The series will be of 10 episodes. Indeed, it is confirmed that the series will be releasing next year. During a launch event held on Tuesday, it was confirmed that the series will release in 2022. And a teaser trailer was released with the announcement. The exact date is not announced yet, though it is expected to be announced soon since the trailer is launched.

The upcoming series is one of the most anticipated series this year. Games of Thrones is one of the highest-rated fantasy tv series. It is considered one of the best television series of all time. Seeing the popularity of Games of Thrones, this prequel is already been loved before its release.

The trailer features snippets of various fight sequences of the show. It looks very interesting. The narrator of the story says in the teaser that the kings weren’t made by dreams they were made to the throne through dragons. It also states a line that is very interesting, “200 years before the fall of the throne”, it shows connectivity between the two timelines. Someone is shown sitting on the throne however the face was not shown fully. The motto says Gods, Kings, Fire, and Blood. There are going to be fight sequences, it looks like the prequel is going to be a treat for the fans of the throne.

The start of production of the series was announced earlier, on April 26, 2021. Miguel Sapochnik and Ryan Condal are the co-showrunners of the series as well as the executive producers along with Martin and Vince Gerardis. Martin and Ryan Condal also co-created this prequel.

Moreover, the prequel will be based on the book “Fire & Blood”, written by the author George R.R. Martin. The story will revolve around the House Targaryen and the Targaryen civil war which is called the Dance of the Dragons.

The casting of the show began in July 2020 and it’s a pretty good cast. Paddy Considine will be playing the part of King Viserys I Targaryen, the king of seven realms. And Emma D’Arcy will be playing Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, the firstborn of the king.

Other members of the cast include Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve best, Sonoyu Mizuna, and Fabien Frankel. Indeed, seven new cast members are added to the team. They are Ryan Corr, Bill Paterson, David Horovitch, Jefferson Hall, Matthew Needham, Gavin Spokes, and Graham McTavish.

Though the original network of the series is HBO Max, it is possible that the prequel will also be available on Netflix when it will release.
