Introduction
For those who are familiar with animated series on the Disney channel, there is no way that they haven’t heard about the show Gravity Falls. This comedy-based mystery series was first released on the Disney Channel back in June of 2012. After that, we have seen one more season airing that was released back in February of 2016. Synopsis
The main storyline of Gravity Falls highlights the interesting journey of Dipper Pines with Mabel, his twin sister. Their journey is full of adventures. In story shows us that Dipper and Mabel are going to spend their holidays of summer vacation with Stan, their great uncle. The fictional town of Oregon where they will be living is stacked with various creatures and activities that cannot be explained. We see Dipper and Mabel assist Stan to set up a spot for the tourists. Their venture is called ‘The Mysterious Shack.’ With the help of this opportunity, they set off their journey in order to solve the local paranormal activities.
Is Gravity Falls Season 3 Coming?
Now coming to the news for the third installment of the show, the creator Alex Hirsch does not have any plans about developing Gravity Falls Season 3. Back in November of 2015, when the show was going through its second season, the creator announced that this will be the end for the show. There won’t be any other season coming after the second one. But he also added that the show is just concluded. Disney has not canceled Gravity Falls. So, it can be possible that Gravity Falls Season 3 will return, not from Alex Hirsch but from any other creator. On the other hand, Alex Hirsch has announced that he had some plans to continue the show with some additional special episodes.
On top of that, as per the declarations made by Hirsch, a graphic Novel of the Gravity Falls, named “Gravity Falls: Lost Legends” was released back in February of 2018. The antagonist of the series, Bill Cipher got a revival from its creator. He was introduced in an episode of The Simpsons entitled ‘Bart’s in Jail.’ So, there is a possibility that the followers of the show will see the characters appearing in different shows. But there is no denying that we are not going to see Gravity Falls Season 3.
