Outlander is a historical drama television series. The show takes its inspiration from the novel series of the same by Diana Gabaldon. The creator of this show is Ronald D. Moore. The first season of the show was released on 9th August 2014, on Starz. Thereafter, the success of the first season of the show was then renewed for a second one soon. The second season of the show was released two years later in the year 2016. And thereafter, just a year later the makers of “Outlander” came out with a third season as well. The fourth season of the show was released in the year 2019 and lastly, the most recent season of the show i.e. season 5 was released in the year 2020. The fans are waiting for the most anticipated Outlander Season 6 ever since.
The storyline of the show revolves around Claire Randall who is married and is a former Second World War military nurse. Claire is currently living in Scotland and the year is 1945. However, as we go further in the series we see that Claire is transported back in time to 1743. We then see Claire falling in love with a Highland warrior named Jamie Fraser. Claire’s newfound love is a tacksman of Gabaldon’s which is a fictionalized version of Clan Fraser Of Lovat. Soon, as the show moves forward we see Claire automatically becoming a part of the most historic event i.e. the Jacobi rising which was the Forty–Five Rebillion attempt by Charles Edward Stuart to regain the British throne from his father.

Diana Gabaldon Spills The Release Date Of Season 6 of the “Outlander”
Well, as we all are aware the channel Starz which officially has rights to the “Outlander” back in 2018 announced the renewal of the show. Starz had announced the renewal of both the 5th and 6th Seasons in that year as well. However, it was the author Diana Gabaldon who spilled the beans about the show’s release date.

It was during her book launch event, last year in June Dian Gabaldon confirmed that Outlander Season 6 was all set to release on 6th March 2022. Further, after the release of her statement the official account of the “Outlander” on Twitter shared the same news as well. This made the fans delighted and they are excitedly looking forward to the 6th Season of the Outlander.
