What does this generation like? Production I.G. thought about it and did it by combining anime with sports and it became an instant hit anime series named Haikyuu!!. Haikyuu!! is based on the Japanese manga, which was illustrated and written by Haruichi Furudate and was in the Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump which started circulating in 2012 till 2020 which had 45 tankobon volumes. It was adapted for anime television by Production I.G which started airing in 2014. Haikyuu Season 5 Official Release Date Announcement

Haikyuu season 1 started airing in 2014 having 25 episodes after its success season 2 started airing in Oct 2015 also having 25 episodes, the third season started airing from Oct 2016 having 10 episodes. The fourth season was announced in 2019 JumpFesta and it was decided that it will be released in two parts, the first of which was aired from Jan 2020 having 12 episodes, and the second from October 2020 had 12 episodes.

For Haikyuu Season 5 there is no news yet or any trailer or teaser has been released by the animation studios but it’s in the pipeline and it will be released by Winter 2022. Season 4 premiered on December 19, 2020, after a long wait of over a year with no clear news. Season 4 ended with a slew of cliffhangers, sending fans into a frenzy. COVID 19 is listed as the cause of the delay. It was believed that some clarification will be provided during Jump Festa 2022. However, he was unaware of what we were all seeking.
