Spy X Family is one of the most popular Japanese Manga Series, which was initially released on March 25, 2019. The series has been adapted into a film, which was released in Japan on October 18, 2019, and in South Korea on November 8, 2019. It is directed by Junji Nishimura and is about a secret organization operating in Japan. The main protagonist is the 14th (and the final) member of the organization, also known as Spy X, which is a boy with the ability to control all kinds of weapons and technology and is also a hacker. What Is Spy X Family About?
The series is about the daily life of a family of five: a couple and their three children. The parents are a couple in their thirties, who are childless by choice. While the mother works full-time, the father stays home and takes care of the kids. The series follows a young boy named Sōma, who is the “spy” of the title, and his family members, who each have their own special ability. Sōma is tasked with keeping his family safe from harm, and his family’s special abilities are their main tool for doing so. The series is serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara magazine and has been collected into 12 volumes as of June 2018. English language rights to the series are held by Kodansha USA.
