Star Trek: Picard
is an American television series created by Akiva Goldsman, Michael Chabon, Kirsten Beyer, and Alex Kurtzman for the streaming service CBS All Access (later rebranded as Paramount+
). Set in the Star Trek universe, it is a remake of the franchise’s fourth television series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, which itself was a remake of the franchise’s second television series, Star Trek: The Original Series. The first season premiered on September 27, 2019. The series is set in the year 2364, shortly after the events of the film Star Trek: Beyond, and follows the adventures of the commander of the U.S.S. Enterprise-D, Jean-Luc Picard, as he attempts to find his place in a world now dominated by the Federation. The series also stars Michelle Yeoh, Gary Sinise, and Kelsey Grammer. Now, the fans are excited to watch the upcoming Star Trek Picard Season 2 Episode 8.
Set in the Star Trek universe, it follows the adventures of the characters Jean-Luc Picard (Anarchy Reigns’ Jason Isaacs) and other characters in the Jean-Luc Picard series. The series is set in the year twenty-five years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis and is said to pick up where the events of the film left off. The series will be written by Academy Award-nominated screenwriter/novelist Kirsten Beyer, and produced by Kurtzman, Goldsman, and Trevor Roth. It is set to premiere in late 2020.
