It looks like there have been several reasons one of them is Lin has been already in conflict with the studio. He was writing the story while the studio insisted on some massive changes which lead to conflict between them. However, from various sources the rumor has been going on that director left cause of Vin Diesel’s behavior. The report says that he used to come late to set and not know his lines which frustrated the director and led to the frustration of the direction and left the franchise by stating his mind is more important than this project. It looks like they had a major disagreement on April 23, 2022.

As the director has left during the filming it looks like filming will be in paise till they get a replacement and this will increase the budget expenses of the movie.
