The former couple of Hollywood Amber Heard and Johnny Depp is in the hot topic of controversy. They are in the spotlight since Amber filed for divorce in 2016 and accused Depp of abusing her during their relationship. However later on it was proven that the accusations were false and John Depp filed a $50 million lawsuit of defamation against Amber Heard. And Amber, for her part, countersued for $100 million.
Heard took the witness stand in a Virginia court on Wednesday afternoon during Depp’s defamation lawsuit against her. She had met Depp when she auditioned for Bruce Robinson’s The Rum Diary back in 2008. She was auditioned 5 times for the role in The Rum Diary however Robinson wasn’t convinced much so he approached Depp for his opinion and as a result, Depp decided to meet Amber Heard. Amber continued her story and said in 2011 during filming in Puerto Rico and for one they were set up to kiss Howe it turned out to be a real kiss. She also said that Finally, on the Rum Diary press tour in London, they slept together. After that, she was invited to Depp’s house in the Bahamas by him. She said that she was head over heels for him.
However, it started to change soon one day they both were sitting on the couch and drinking and Amber asked Depp about the “Wino Forever” tattoo on his arm but in reply, he said “You think it’s funny, bitch?” he said after hitting her but she just laughed cause she doesn’t know what else to do at that time. Depp then got down on his knees and sobbed and said he won’t ever do that again. Then she said day by day it started to get worse. Amber Heard has accused Johnny Depp of being a self-described “monster” and she also said that he used to hit her repeatedly, break furniture and even sexually assault her one day. She said one day in 2013 during a weekend away with friends he tore her dress, ripped off her underwear, and sexually abused her as he was searching for his cocaine. Heard’s attorneys also played a video that Heard took of Depp slamming his kitchen cupboard and breaking other objects however the actor Johnny Depp said that he was having a hard time so he abused furniture but didn’t touch Ms. Heard.
However, Johnny Depp’s former long-term partner Vanessa Paradis and his ex-girlfriend Winona Ryder have come up with their statements to London’s High Court. Johnny Depp’s former long-term partner Vanessa Paradis with whom he was married for 14 years and had two children Lily-Rose and Jack. Vanessa stated that outrageous statements have been really distressing, and also caused damage to his career and people are also believing those false facts she added that it is not like the true Johnny she knows. On another hand, Johnny’s former girlfriend Ms. Ryder gave a statement that she doesn’t want to claim anyone’s statement as false or as someone as liar but she said that it is impossible for her to imagine these allegations to be true as it is nothing like the Johnny she knew or loved.
