She meets Judy in a grief support group while she mourns for her husband who died and was killed in a hit-and-run, Judy at the same time griefs her husband who died of a heart attack. But, in reality, Judy is the hit-and-run driver who killed Jen’s husband and her fiance broke up with her. The two women in a way face their struggles in the story whereas Jen at the same time also finds herself in a dark position. Due to the sad realities of Jen and Judy, both of them develop a close bond and start sharing their life stories to even enrich that closer bond.
