How will the story unfold in Season 2?
Before we move on to know what is in store for the audience in Shining Vale Season 2 let us have a look at what has happened in the series so far. So, the story of a dysfunctional family was witnessed by the audience in Shining Vale Season 1, where Cox’s character Pat Phelps is portrayed as a novelist who is finding it hard to pen down after her first novel ‘wild child’ was released.
She had been faithful her whole life until she finds herself in a torrid affair with the handyman who came to repair the sink. In an attempt to save her marriage and forget about her past, she along with her husband Terry put all their money to buy a mansion in Connecticut.
They feel as if things are going to be alright and they will figure things out in their family until Cox starts to sense things that assure her that something is not right in the mansion.
Now if we look at the ending of the Shining Vale, it clearly left space for the story to carry forward. In the end, Cox was seen in a psychiatric cell for attacking her husband upon being possessed by Rosemary. The drama ended with the reveal that the mansion was once a psychiatric hospital. Therefore, it is expected that the story will be seen pacing up from where it left, off in Shining Vale Season 2.
