There is no way that you’re a Shonen anime fan and you have not heard or watched the anime Demon Slayer. The anime has garnered a lot of popularity just because of its character development and animation style. The second season of the anime has recently ended and the fans are already looking forward to the release of Demon Slayer Season 3. Demon Slayer or Kimetsu No Yaiba is one of the most popular Shonen anime in Japan and in all over the world. The anime is based on the manga of the same name. the illustrator of the anime is Koyoharu Gotouge. The anime has two seasons and one movie in its pocket. The first installment of the show was aired back in 2019 and after broadcasting a movie, the second season was aired in 2022.

Synopsis

In the first season which was released by Ufotable, we saw the whole family of the protagonist Tanjiro Kamado got killed by a demon named Muzan and his sister Nezuko kamado got transformed into a demon. So, in order to fight the demons, Tanjiro Sets off his journey of being a Demon Slayer. The movie was adapted from the manga and was entitled ‘Infinite Train Arc.’ In the movie, we saw Tanjiro and his friends Zenitsu and Inosuke going on a mission to kill an upper echelon demon and assist the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku in this mission. The Third Season of the anime was entitled ‘Entertainment District Arc’ and featured the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui. He and the trio went on a mission to eliminate another upper echelon demon.

Updates About Demon Slayer Season 3

The Demon Slayer Season 2 Finale has aired a few days ago. The good news is at the end of the last episode, they added a short video that teased Season 3 of the anime. So, yeah… Demon Slayer Season 3 is confirmed now. The new season will also be adapted from the manga and is entitled ‘Swordsmith Village Arc.’ The short video didn’t spoil anything from the manga but we saw the clip teasing two major characters from the anime.

Anticipated Release Date For Demon Slayer Season 3

Now coming to the release date of Demon Slayer, we have got some leaked information for you. The inside sources from various producing studios behind the anime like Ufotable Shueisha and Aniplex have revealed that the production work will begin on 13^th February of this year. We didn’t receive any further confirmation if there is any delay in production. So, considering how consistently the studio has worked in the anime in past, Demon Slayer Season 3 will most probably finish up before the 2^nd quarter of 2023. On top of that, a news page Animehype has revealed that the studio has mentioned a 1.5-year break before Swordsmith Village Arc is aired. The clip that was added after the end of Season 2 does not mention any exact date for Demon Slayer Season 3. One more thing, the fresh news related to the third installment will be discussed in the Shonen Jump Magazine on 20^th February of 2022.
