For those who are watching anime for a long time now, the name ‘No Game No Life‘ is widely known to them. This anime is famous for making an incomplete masterpiece that left a legend behind it. So, it has been a while that all the weebs are asking for No Game No Life Season 2.

Synopsis
Before jumping into the discussion about No Game No Life Season 2 let’s have a quick look into what we saw in the last season. So, the anime is an isekai type story that revolves around two step-siblings Shiro and Sora. Now… Shiro and Sora are a gamer duo who measures everything from a point of view of gaming. According to them, the world can be seen as a board of chess. We see that they get an invitation from a God from another dimension named ted. The god invited them to play a game of chess with him. So, the anime shows their adventure into another dimension and how they progress with their sense of logic.
The first season of No Game No Life was aired back in April of 2014. After airing 12 seasons in a single season, the anime concluded in June of 2014. We also got to see a movie that was actually a prequel to the series. The movie was named No Game No Life: Zero and was released back in 2017.
When We Are Going To See No Game No Life Season 2
We, the weebs know that anime series are mainly adapted either from novels or from Manga series of the same name. This anime is not an exception. The anime No Game No Life is adapted from a novel and manga of the same name. The writer and illustrator of the series are Yuu Kamiya. We also know her for her works on Clockwork Planet. As per the reports, he is relentlessly working and releasing new volumes of the light novel. As we can see the author has released 11 volumes of No Game No Life Light Novel. The anime also has a manga. The manga currently has two volumes that were released in 2013 and 2018 respectively. The manga is discontinued but the LN is still ongoing.
Yuu Kamiya has revealed some new info about the light novel. The LN will be entering its final arc in the final chapter of volume 11. The release date for the 12th volume of the light novel is not revealed yet. As we have seen the first season of No Game No Life has adapted the first three volumes of LN. The movie has adapted the 7th volume of the LN. So if the anime gets a second installment, it will start from the 4th volume.
So as there is no deficiency in the source material, it’s just a matter of time before No Game No Life Season 2 gets released. We also have some news from the inside source from studio Kadokawa. According to the insider, the studio will most probably start its production in late 2022. So, there is a probability that we will be seeing No Game No Life Season 2 at the end of 2023 or in early 2024. The New episodes are expected to release on Crunchyroll and Funimation.
