The news regarding Prison School Season 2 is all around the internet and fans are suspicious and questioning the fact that Is the manga series going to be renewed for Season 2 or is it going to get canceled? Let us take a look at this article to answer this burning question that is circulated all over the Internet.
What’s Prison School all about?
Prison School is a Japanese television adaptation of the manga “Prison School” that is written and illustrated by Akira Hiramoto. The manga television adaptation is produced by J.C. Staff Studios that aired from October to December 2015. The series basically follows the story of Hachimitsu Academy, which is one of the strictest girl’s institutes in Tokyo. The institute has basically decided to admit boys into the system. Due to this, they admit Kiyoshi Fujino, one of these boys into the institute, but therefore he discovers that he and his friends namely-Takehito “Gakuto” Morokuzu, Shingo Wakamoto, Jouji “Joe” Nezu, and Reiji “Andre” Andou are the only boys among 1,000 girl students. The evil laws also exist in that institute which punishes students even committing minor to minor punishments with a stay in the school’s prison. However, in order to find a love interest and integrate within the girl’s bathing area in the school, the boys commit voyeurism which leads them to receive an ultimatum from the Underground Student’s Council of the school to either stay a month in the prison or to be expelled. Due to this, the boys end up staying in the prison and this series, therefore, explores their prison life filled with dark, drama, love, and violent beauty.
Prison School Season 2: Is it canceled or going to get renewed?
According to official sources, there has been no clarification regarding the renewal update of Prison School Season 2. Since the series last arrived in 2015, the official team makers of the manga have not confirmed or come up with any clarifications regarding Prison School Season 2. Last year, a rumor was basically circulating around the towns of the anime world that Prison School might be coming for its Season 2. But Season 2’s development is yet to be provided. The producer of the anime series J.C. Staff Studio seems confused about whether Season 2 would be coming on screens or not?. Also, the director of the series also clarified earlier that he is very much willing to do Prison School Season 2 but looks like the scenario is changed now. Currently, J.C. Staff Studios is also focusing on other anime projects which gives us a bleak future for season 2 of the anime series. However, since nothing has been confirmed yet, we cannot fully say that the Season 2 of the series is getting canceled or getting renewed, but at the same time, it would be very much of great news for the fans if the official team of the series comes up with some good authentic news.
Prison School Season 2: Expected Plot
Well, since nothing has been officially confirmed, but if for a good reason Season 2 is confirmed for renewal, then what would be the expected plot of Prison School Season 2? Since we know that the series basically focuses on the dark and the comedy attempt of the schoolboys to find a love interest and integrate within the girl’s institute. Therefore, we can expect season 2 of the series to focus on and highlight more about the Underground student council and the prison life of boys. Prison School Season 2 might also showcase some moments of the punishment of the boys that they were given in order to commit voyeurism within the school. Apart from all of this, the second season might also showcase the afterlife of boys after their punishment and coming out of prison. So, we can thus say that it would be much more exciting and double the time interesting for the fans to explore and watch the second season of the series if it is officially confirmed by the team, which if it does would be more than just good news for the fans.
