As a child, Malcolm was always responsible for helping the police in order to arrest his father. Malcolm had himself not seen his father in ten years. But now after becoming an FBI profiler and also consulting for the New York Police Department, Malcolm is forced to confront his father after a copycat serial killer emerges and uses Whitly’s killing methods and now he must use Whitly’s insights in order to help solve horrible crimes while handling inner battles.

The series had so far received greater love from the fans, but somehow it managed to have only two seasons which is very sad and bad news for the fans that Prodigal Son Season 3 is not happening.
