What’s Tonikaku Kawaii all about?
Tonikaku Kawaii is a Japanese manga series that is written and illustrated by Kenjiro Hata. The manga has also been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday since February 2018. The anime television adaptation of the series was done by Seven Arcs.
The story of the anime series surrounds a teen boy named Nasa Yuzaki and his developing relationship with his new wife Tsukasa who at the beginning of the story saves Nasa from a car accident. After the girl saves him from the car accident, Nasa follows her at the bus stop and confesses his love for her. The girl Tsukasawho argues to become his girlfriend but only with one condition, they both should get married first. And with this turn, the story continues to go on by focusing on both their developing and evolving relationships.
Tonikaku Kawaii is one of the most popular manga anime series that is very much popular among anime fans and this series has also received positive reviews so far after season 1 ended.
Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2 Release date
As per official sources, no formal word has been released by the makers of the series. However, the show’s producers Seven Arcs Studios recently announced that season two of the anime series would be soon arriving which therefore proves the possibility that Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2 would be arriving somewhat in late 2022.
With this, it is also in the news that Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2 is in the works since season 1 of the series also ended with a conclusion that season 2 of the anime series is on its way. Therefore, fans can expect season 2 to be renewed and arrive soon on screens.
Season one of Tonikaku Kawaii broadcasted from October 3, 2020, to December 19, 2020. Fans of the anime series can watch and enjoy the series only on Crunchyroll as it is believed that since season 1 of the series was streamed there. Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2 might also be streaming there.
The Expected Plot of Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2
The first season of the series which was titled “Husband and Wife” ended by demonstrating the progress of Nasa and Tsukasa’s relationship since she first showed up on his doorstep. We also saw in the first season of the series that both of them get married due to Tsukasa’s demand to marry first before being in a relationship. Due to which Nasa also drops high school to sustain their livelihood.
We also saw in season 1 that Nasa faces excessive pressure in his employment which he is hiding from his wife. and Tsukasa does not believe him for a second who is in a way focused to have the responsibility of taking care of him as a wife.
We also saw in season 1 how they celebrate their relationship and how they spent the entire day on the festival grounds where they indulge in various activities and then they decide to visit the shrine to offer a payer and as the sunsets, Nasa is very much happy and confined with his life and with his life partner.
As of now, no official details have been revealed regarding Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2, we can thus say that since season 1 of the series covered the first 80 chapters of the original manga series we can say that season 2 will probably likely cover the chapter 81 and later chapters of the original manga series.
It is thus also likely that Tonikaku Kawaii Season 2 might follow the plot of the post-husband-wife relationship of Nasa and Tsukasa, and how their relationship progressed in the future. However, it is also possible that Kaname Arisugawa will also provide the pair with greater relationship advice. And we can also see Chitose Kaginoji would be considering the prospect that she and Nasa could become friends after all these years.
