Shala “1st Lady” Holmes, a South Carolina native raised in California, brings a rich blend of musical influences to the industry. Mentored by iHeartRadio executives early in her career, she became a key figure in the Southeast’s music scene. In 2019, she joined Coalition DJs Carolina as Executive Advisor, providing essential organizational support and DJ guidance. Currently, she serves as Program Director for Rebel 107.9 in Charlotte, NC, leading the station through its post-launch phase with global attention on iHeartRadio.
