Despite pulling in 1.1 million views, the most for any Pen Games battle, Kandi believes he was unfairly judged—calling out Big Zuu in particular. He argues that the decision was biased and that he should have been declared the winner.

“Big Zuu’s my guy, but let’s be real—he got that one wrong,” Kandi said. “If you’re watching the bars, the crowd, the energy, there was no way I lost that battle.”

Kandi Reacts to KSI: “Beggers Can’t Be Choosers”

Kandi also addressed KSI’s reaction to his viral battle, noting that KSI believed it should have been his most-viewed video. While appreciating the recognition, Kandi made it clear that numbers don’t lie.

“KSI’s a legend, but at the end of the day, beggars can’t be choosers,” he said. “The people decided. It’s my most-viewed, it’s Pen Games’ most-viewed. That’s just how it goes.”

Speaking on California Wildfires and Israel-Palestine Conflict

Beyond battle rap, Kandi used his platform to speak on serious global issues. Addressing the California wildfires, he expressed concern for those affected and the environmental damage caused.

On the Israel-Palestine conflict, Kandi took a balanced but critical stance, saying that both sides are in the wrong when innocent lives are lost.

“Killing people is unfair. No one wins in war,” he said. “At the end of the day, innocent lives are being lost on both sides, and that’s what people need to focus on.”
