After rejecting her sister, Beverly starts to see Elliot everywhere – in strangers’ faces and reflections. The separation is destroying her, and she cannot be without her sister. At a dinner, Rebecca congratulates Beverly on her successes. She has launched a successful birthing center, won an award for her hard work, and the lab is publishing world-changing research. Beverly is also soon to have twins.
However, despite all the good news, Beverly is clearly unhappy and misses her sister terribly. Rebecca brings up Silas’ article, which could ruin everyone’s careers at the table. They discuss Elliot’s long list of crimes and scandals, including paying off Florence for Elliot’s surgical mistake and rumors of murder.
